I deliberated quite a bit before choosing this model. I initially opted for a well-reviewed top brand, but this cleaner significantly outperformed it. It effectively does its job without unnecessary acrobatics. An algae outbreak in my pool was quickly managed with the help of this cleaner and my skimmer socks, resulting in crystal-clear water, as evidenced by the attached photos. The advantages of this cleaner include its ability to thoroughly clean and even skim the walls, with brushes that work cohesively with the system to capture rather than disperse dirt. The downside is its weight; even though the handle provides some maneuverability, the cleaner becomes particularly heavy when filled with water, and it’s still quite hefty when empty.
The suction power is impressive and offers great value for money, plus it’s simple to clean.
After experimenting with two cordless models, I switched to a corded cleaner and couldn't be happier. This machine's efficiency, with 1-3 hour cleaning cycles and large capacity for debris, paired with excellent waterline cleaning, has streamlined my pool maintenance to just 10 minutes weekly. I use a special brush for corners the cleaner can't reach. Initially, the robot would get stuck in the deep end, but adjusting the cord’s floats fixed this. I feared the cord might tangle during use, a concern that proved unfounded, much like childhood fears of quicksand. The video demonstrates that the solar surface robot seldom interferes with the cord. I would definitely purchase this again.

We had to empty the basket before the battery depleted, which is typical initially given the debris accumulation. The pool now looks fantastic. This robot surpasses my old one in many aspects, especially in how it cleans the pool’s walls and waterline, reducing my manual cleaning effort. Yet, its movement appears arbitrary, necessitating periodic checks to ensure complete area coverage. Due to its dimensions and orientation, it might overlook some corners or edges. Removing it from the water for cleaning can be cumbersome due to its weight, so it’s advisable to proceed with caution. Overall, the performance has been satisfactory thus far.

We’ve nicknamed our new pool vacuum 'Wally,' and it's fantastic for our large in-ground pool. We returned a cordless model due to its lengthy recharge time and insufficient cleaning cycles for our sizable pool, especially after windy days. Though some reviews mention its weight, it's manageable. It compares well with our previous Dolphin Nautilus Plus. For larger pools, a corded model like this is preferable. The Wybot effectively climbs walls to clean the waterline and is easy to clean. It covers our 20'x40' pool, reaching the bottom step but not the upper two, which isn't a significant issue for us.
